Affirmations

Affirmations are simply put: Ideas that you affirm to yourself

Affirm means to : State as a fact. assert (say confidently) strongly and publicly

Affirmations are key to retraining your brain. If your thoughts create your feelings, and your feelings create emotions, which create your personality and if your personality creates your personal reality, then you want to start by creating new affirmations

(Remember your brain is either a record of the past or it can be a map to the future).

We are rewiring the brain so that you experience and attract the things you want. This is all part of the process.

Negative thoughts lead to negative feelings, and negative feeling create a negative personality. A negative personality creates a negative personal reality.

Now since we thing 60k to 70k thoughts per day, and since most of those thoughts are unconscious, we could actually have an autopilot programmed with thoughts we may not want, we have to reprogram.

The way we can begin to reprogram is through affirmations.
if done correctly, we can have great experiences with affirmations .

So the first thing is to be conscious of, and recognize when we are having bad thoughts.
Now you can’t realistically monitor 60,000 thoughts per day.
The easier way to do this is to notice how we are FEELING.

Your feelings are an indication of what you are thinking. When you thing sad thoughts you feel sad, when you think thoughts of experiences you don’t like, you will feel anxiety or worried.
When you think thoughts of times when you had great experiences, you will feel excited or happy.

Your mind is so powerful that it can do almost anything except tell the difference between something that is real or imagined.

That’s why when you watch a scary movie with the lights out, you can actually feel scared even though you are in no danger.
Or if you put on 3D glasses or virtual reality goggles and watch a screen showing a roller coaster, you will hold on to your chair and scream and your heart will beat faster and you will have the time of your life while sitting in a chair that is not moving.

Because your brain cannot tell the difference between what’s real and what you are thinking. And that is how you have the advantage to reprogram it.

You must understand that the thoughts you think, will create your reality

So one of the first steps is to recognize what you are/were thinking.
You have to be aware of the negative thoughts.

Remember, even if its not physically here yet, its there mentally/spiritually and that is all that matters, be thankful now, and it will be there in the near future. But think of it as being here now in the mind and you can rejoice and be thankful for that.
